Welcome. This is a moment to soften. A moment to let the body loosen its grip around what has been hurting. A moment to create space around the pain you have been carrying. Not to deny it. Not to erase it. Not to pretend it has not mattered. But to let it breathe. To let it move. To let it become less trapped inside you. [pause 5s] So for now, allow your body to become comfortable. Let yourself settle. And if it feels right, gently close your eyes. [pause 4s] Take one slow breath in. And one long, easy breath out. [pause 4s] Again, breathing in gently. And breathing out, letting the day fall farther away. [pause 4s] One more breath in. And as you breathe out, imagine setting down the pressure to hold everything together for just a little while. You can rest here. You can soften here. You can be held here. [pause 6s] Now bring awareness to the top of your head. And imagine a quiet wave of softness moving down through you. Across the forehead. Around the eyes. Through the jaw. Into the throat. Over the shoulders. Down the arms. Into the hands. Through the chest. Through the heart space. Into the belly. The hips. The legs. The feet. All the way down into the ground beneath you. [pause 6s] And with every breath, your body remembers that it does not need to brace so hard right now. [pause 5s] Now imagine that you are standing beside a still lake at dawn. The water is calm. The air is cool and clear. There is a hush in the world. A feeling that something inside you can finally exhale. [pause 5s] Along the shore of this lake are smooth stones. Each stone represents a piece of emotional pain you have been carrying. Heartache. Disappointment. Old sorrow. Unspoken grief. Regret. Loneliness. The weight of what someone did. The weight of what never happened. The ache of what was lost. [pause 5s] Notice the stones without needing to name every one of them. You do not need to sort your pain perfectly in order to begin releasing it. [pause 5s] Now kneel beside the shore. Pick up one stone. Feel its weight in your hand. This is one piece of pain you no longer need to hold as tightly. You do not have to deny that it existed. You do not have to deny that it mattered. You are only allowing its grip to loosen. [pause 5s] Bring the stone to your heart. Take a slow breath in. And breathe out. Then gently place the stone into the lake. Watch the ripples spread. Then settle. And as they settle, feel something inside you soften too. [pause 5s] Now take another stone. Maybe this one carries sadness. Or anger. Or exhaustion. Or the ache of what was never fully spoken. Hold it for a moment. Acknowledge it. And then place it into the water. [pause 5s] Again the ripples move. Again they settle. And with each stone released, the body feels a little lighter. A little more open. A little less crowded by pain. [pause 5s] Now imagine that as each stone enters the lake, it is not lost in darkness. It is received by the water. Held by something larger. Transformed by stillness. This lake knows how to receive sorrow without drowning in it. And so can you. [pause 6s] Take your time now. Imagine releasing as many stones as feel right. No rush. One by one. Breath by breath. Weight by weight. Letting the lake take what you no longer wish to carry so tightly. [pause 8s] Now stand again and look at the shore. There may still be some stones there. And that is all right. You do not need to empty the whole shore today. You only need to lighten your hands. You only need to breathe a little more deeply than before. You only need to make a little more room. [pause 6s] Now imagine the lake beginning to glow with soft silver light. This silver light rises like mist and surrounds you. It moves through your chest. Your throat. Your shoulders. Your belly. The places where pain has been stored. [pause 5s] And as it moves through you, it begins to loosen what has been clenched. It soothes what has been raw. It cools what has been burning. It opens what has been shut down. [pause 5s] And you may begin to feel the truth of this: Pain is real. But it does not have to become your permanent home. You are allowed to release what hurts. You are allowed to soften around what happened. You are allowed to stop gripping pain as proof that it mattered. What mattered can still matter even as the pain begins to change. [pause 6s] Take a slow breath in. And breathe out. [pause 4s] Now let these affirmations move gently through you. [pause 4s] I allow my pain to soften. [pause 6s] I do not need to carry every hurt so tightly. [pause 6s] I am allowed to release what no longer serves my healing. [pause 6s] My emotions are welcome here. [pause 6s] My body is allowed to unclench. [pause 6s] I can make space for peace. [pause 6s] I can honor the past without living inside it. [pause 6s] I can let healing begin. [pause 6s] I release a little more with every breath. [pause 6s] I am becoming lighter. [pause 8s] Now imagine a warm light glowing in the center of your chest. A soft golden rose light. This light is your healing heart. Not a heart untouched by pain. A heart that knows pain and still remains open to healing. [pause 5s] As the light grows, it fills your ribs. Your shoulders. Your throat. Your belly. Your whole body begins to feel more spacious from within. [pause 5s] And as this healing light expands, it does not push pain away harshly. It simply creates more room around it. More breath around it. More compassion around it. [pause 5s] Now see yourself moving through life with a little less heaviness. Not because everything is suddenly resolved. But because your body is learning that it can release. It can soften. It can stop holding pain like armor. [pause 5s] You can speak more gently to yourself. You can let your nervous system rest more often. You can return to the lake whenever you need. That wisdom is now within you. [pause 5s] Now repeat inwardly: I can feel without becoming trapped. I can grieve without hardening. I can release without forgetting. I can heal without rushing. I can soften and still be strong. [pause 5s] In a moment, I will count from one to five. And with each number, return carrying more spaciousness, more emotional relief, and more permission to release what has been hurting. [pause 4s] One, slowly returning. Two, breathing deeper. Three, bringing movement back to the body. Four, carrying this softening with you. Five, eyes open when ready, lighter, calmer, and more emotionally spacious.
