Welcome. This is a place to soften the fear of being seen. Because for many people, visibility has not always felt safe. Being seen may have once meant being judged. Misunderstood. Criticized. Too exposed. Too vulnerable. Too much. [pause 5s] Or perhaps being seen meant pressure. Expectation. Attention you did not want. Or the ache of not being received as you truly are. [pause 5s] So if part of you has learned to hide, dim, second-guess, or stay smaller than your true self, let this be a space where visibility can begin to feel different. Not forced. Not overwhelming. Safer. Gentler. More aligned. [pause 5s] Let your body settle now. Find a position that feels comfortable and supported. And if it feels right, gently close your eyes. [pause 4s] Take one slow breath in. And one soft breath out. [pause 4s] Again, breathing in gently. And breathing out, allowing the body to soften. [pause 4s] One more easy breath in. And as you breathe out, imagine releasing the pressure to be fully open all at once. You are only here to let safety grow. [pause 6s] Now bring awareness to your forehead. Let it soften. To the eyes. Let them rest. To the jaw. Let it loosen. To the throat. Let it soften. To the shoulders. Let them lower. To the chest. Let it open. To the belly. Let it relax. To the legs and feet. Let them become grounded and supported. [pause 6s] And with each breath, feel your nervous system growing a little calmer. A little more available to trust. [pause 5s] Now imagine you are standing in a beautiful clearing in the forest at dawn. Soft light filters through the trees. The ground beneath you is covered in moss. The air is fresh and quiet. This clearing is a sacred place of visibility. A place where being seen is not a threat. A place where presence is met with gentleness. [pause 5s] In the center of the clearing is a pool of golden light. Walk toward it slowly. And as you do, notice what comes up in your body when you approach the light. Maybe hesitation. Maybe tightness. Maybe a wish to turn back. Maybe old memories of being misunderstood or judged. [pause 4s] Just notice. There is nothing wrong with your caution. It was learned for a reason. And now you are giving that caution a new experience. [pause 5s] Place one hand over your heart. And say inwardly: Thank you for trying to protect me. But I am learning that being seen can be safe. I am learning that presence does not always lead to harm. I am learning that I can stay with myself while visible. [pause 5s] Take a slow breath in. And breathe out. [pause 4s] Now step gently into the pool of golden light. It surrounds your feet. Your legs. Your belly. Your chest. Your throat. Your face. [pause 4s] Notice that nothing harsh happens here. The light does not demand anything from you. It does not criticize you. It does not distort you. It simply reveals you in warmth. [pause 5s] And perhaps for the first time in a long time, being visible begins to feel less like exposure and more like presence. You do not need to perform in this light. You do not need to become more polished, more perfect, or more acceptable. You only need to exist within it. [pause 5s] Now imagine around the clearing are old masks you once wore. Masks of pleasing. Masks of hiding. Masks of being smaller than you are. Masks of saying less than you meant. Masks of keeping your light dim enough to feel safe. [pause 5s] Walk to one of the masks and pick it up. Notice how heavy it is. Notice how long you have worn it. Notice how tired you are of needing it. [pause 4s] And now place it gently on the earth. Then another. And another. One by one, you set the masks down. Not with shame. With gratitude for how they helped you survive. And with truth that you no longer need to live hidden in the same way. [pause 5s] As the masks fall away, the golden light reaches more of your face. More of your chest. More of your voice. More of your presence. [pause 5s] Take another breath. [pause 4s] Now let these truths move gently through you. [pause 4s] It is safe for me to be more fully myself. [pause 6s] Visibility can be gentle. [pause 6s] I do not need to hide to belong. [pause 6s] I do not need to diminish myself to stay safe. [pause 6s] My presence is not a problem. [pause 6s] My light is not a threat. [pause 6s] I can be seen and remain grounded. [pause 6s] I can stay with myself while visible. [pause 6s] I am allowed to exist without apology. [pause 6s] I become safer in my own visibility each day. [pause 8s] Now imagine someone entering the clearing. Not a threatening presence. A witnessing presence. Someone who sees you clearly and receives you kindly. They do not ask you to be different. They do not ask you to shrink. They simply meet you. [pause 5s] And now realize something important. The deeper healing is not only that others may receive you differently. It is that you are learning to receive yourself while visible. You are learning not to abandon yourself the moment attention arrives. [pause 5s] Now imagine yourself in ordinary life being a little more visible. Speaking up. Sharing your work. Walking into a room. Showing your face. Letting your truth be heard. [pause 5s] And each time you do, you imagine the golden clearing beneath you. The moss under your feet. The soft light around you. The masks left on the forest floor. You breathe. You stay. You remain with yourself. And that changes everything. [pause 5s] Now repeat inwardly: I am safe to be seen. I welcome my own presence. I let visibility become gentler. [pause 5s] In a moment, I will count from one to five. And with each number, return carrying more safety in visibility, more ease in your presence, and more permission to be fully here. [pause 4s] One, slowly returning. Two, breathing deeper. Three, bringing movement back to the body. Four, carrying this gentle visibility with you. Five, eyes open when ready, steadier, softer, and more safe to be seen.
